TTISI DISC Cube

Our assessment partner TTI Success Insights has announced the debut of a new learning tool for its popular DISC behavioural assessment based on the popular Rubik’s Cube toy.

TTI Success Insights introduced the new TTISI DISC Cube at the 30th annual TTISICON on January 12, 2019 in Phoenix.

The purpose of the cube is to visually demonstrate a specific aspect of a person’s personality - his or her behavioural style as measured by DISC.

The four main colours of the cube, from left to right, are red, yellow, green and blue, matching the colours that represent the Dominance, Influence, Steadiness and Compliance components of the DISC graph found in TTI Success Insights reports. The opposite side of the cube reflects the complementary behavioural style of his or her ideal counterpart.

Voted “toy of the year” in 1980 and 1981, more than 350 million Rubik’s Cubes have been sold worldwide, making it the best-selling toy of all time.

This new take on the iconic cube employs a modern augmented reality (AR) application that allows users to customise their experience. Using AR, a person’s picture can be placed on the cube, creating shareable and personalised content.

“Using this worldwide icon to educate and communicate the value of our behavioural assessments, tools and resources is a natural fit for our global company,” said Rick Bowers, president of TTI Success Insights. “With the help of our master distributor Jered Kalkman, we were able to develop a product that provides a very clear understanding of DISC in a very tangible and fun format.”
